Privacy policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026English translation for convenience. The Spanish version prevails.

In short: we ask only for the data we need to sell you coffee, answer you and deliver what you ordered. We don't create user accounts, we don't store your card and we don't sell your data to anyone.

Who is responsible

The website www.lindamorena.cafe is operated by Grupo Fragali, S.A. under the trade name Linda Morena, domiciled in Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala («Linda Morena» or «we»). We decide how and why the data you entrust to us on this site is used.

What data we collect

When you buy in the shop

You check out as a guest, without an account. We ask for your name, delivery address, email and phone number, and the NIT (Guatemalan tax ID) or «CF» (final consumer) you want on your electronic invoice (FEL).

When you pay

Card and balance payments are processed directly by PayPal and PAGGO. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive the payment confirmation and the details needed to identify the transaction. If you pay in cash, we keep a record of the payment.

When you request lot information (Coffee Beans)

Name, company, country, type of buyer, email, WhatsApp (optional), estimated volume (optional), lots of interest and your message.

When you write to us

Name, email, the topic and the content of your message. If you write to us on WhatsApp, also your phone number.

When you subscribe to our letters

Your email address and the record that you agreed to receive them.

When you buy a ticket to an experience

The purchase details and the number of attendees. At the farm, each participant signs a risk acknowledgement; if a minor attends, the responsible adult signs as well.

Technical data

When you browse, technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit are recorded. We use it for site security, to prevent automated use of our forms and, if you accept, to measure visits. Details are in the cookie policy.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to operate, and only with the data each one requires:

  • PayPal and PAGGO, to process payments.
  • Courier companies, to deliver your order (name, address and phone).
  • Our electronic-invoice certifier and the SAT (Guatemala's tax authority), to issue the FEL.
  • Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), to send the letters to subscribers.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), to measure visits, only if you accept.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.), to check that forms are sent by a person.
  • Our web hosting provider, where the site runs and orders are stored.

We may also disclose data to an authority if a law or court order requires us to.

Data outside Guatemala

Some of these providers process data in other countries, mainly the United States. We choose providers with public data-protection commitments and share only what is necessary. If you visit us from another country, please note that we operate from Guatemala.

Your rights

Even without an account, you can ask us to:

  • Know what data we hold about you and what we use it for.
  • Correct data that is incomplete or wrong.
  • Delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.
  • Object to a specific use, or withdraw your consent, for example to the letters or to visit measurement.
  • Receive a copy of your data.

Write to info@lindamorena.cafe saying what you need and the email you used with us. To protect your data, we may ask for a detail of your order to confirm your identity. We reply within 30 days at the latest. To stop receiving the letters, just use the unsubscribe link in any of them.

If you visit us from another country, your local laws may give you additional rights; we will handle them through this same channel.

Security

The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We keep the site updated, protected by a firewall and with restricted access to orders. No system is infallible: if we detect an incident affecting your data, we will tell you without delay.

Minors

The shop and forms are intended for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. Minors may attend experiences only with a responsible adult, who is the one who gives us their details.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the change is significant, for example a new use of your data, we will announce it on the site and, if you gave us your email for the letters, by email too.
